Paola Gianturco, author of Grandmother Power, reports:
Judi Aubel, who founded The Grandmother Project, just sent these photographs by Mariette Baynton from Sare Samba Nety, Senegal where she visited Tobo Balde, who leads the grandmother group in her village and who is dancing on the cover of Grandmother Power. Judi presented a framed print of the cover photograph to Tobo. It makes me happy to know that she has it; pictures are not readily available where she lives. That wonderful woman is a terrific dancer!
